Syaa

Somali Youth Agriculture Association is an initiative of dedicated Somali Agricultural professionals interested in building an organization intended to enhance the agricultural capacity of the country to reduce food insecurity and alleviate poverty in rural communities

ARTICCLE II. SYAA PURPOSE Section1, Nonprofit Purpose This association is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, Including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. Section 2, Specific Purpose Association of SOMALI YOUTH AGRICULTURE ASSOCIATION (SYAA) provides a forum to exchange Constructive ideas for all interested in the development of agricultural development and environmental conservation in Somalia The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be: a) Promote a resilient and sustainable agricultural development in Somalia. b) Facilitate transfer of agricultural technologies to Somalia c) Sponsor, host and/or participate in events and activities that promote Somali Agricultural development. ARTICCLE III. MEMBERSHIP Section1, Eligibility for membership Application for voting membership shall be open to any individual that supports the purpose Statement in article II, section2.membership is granted after completion and recent of a membership application and annual duties. All memberships shall be granted upon a majority vote of the SYAA Board. Section 2 Annul Duties The amount required for annual duties shall be $25.00 and $5.00 for regular and student Members, respectively, each year, unless changed by a majority vote of the members at an Annual meeting of the full membership, continued membership contingent upon being up to date on membership dues. Section 3, Rights of Members Each member shall be eligible to vote in SYAA elections
