Updated Versions of the Lens[]

In 1995, Canon replaced the lens with their 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM, which improves upon the 80-200 with its USM focusing capabilities. In 2001, Canon again updated the 70-200, replacing the first version with a similar model which included IS, and again updated the optics in 2010 with their 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM II.
